Shipping Policy
Online orders will ship within two to three working days. Please allow for additional processing time during peak periods, such as Christmas, holidays, or any sales events.
Orders containing pre-ordered items will be shipped in full, unless requested by the customer and secondary postage paid. If you wish to receive in-stock items before the delivery date of pre-ordered pieces in your cart, we advise placing two separate orders.
All orders ship from our warehouse in Melbourne, Australia.
Authority to leave
This option is at the recipient's risk. Please ensure a safe place for delivery if you are not home. SUTRAM or the carrier cannot refund or replace lost, damaged, or stolen items once delivery is complete.
Redirections & Failed Deliveries
If a parcel is returned to SUTRAM after failed delivery, or multiple delivery attempts, additional return, shipping and import fees will be charged to the receiver where applicable. Any refunds will be processed less customs, taxes, return charges, custom fees, and freight incurred. A re-delivery will incur an additional shipping cost, specific to your region.
Shipping Rates and Timeframes
Australia: $15 Flat Rate. Complimentary above $300 AUD
New Zealand: Australia Post Express 3-7 working days at $30 NZD
DHL Express 1-4 working days at $60 NZD
United States: Australia Post Express - 5-8 working days at $35 USD
DHL Express - 3-5 working days at $85 USD
Rest of the world: DHL Express - 2-8 working days and a Flat Rate of $90 AUD
Returns Policy
We understand bedding is a considered purchase, and we will support any changes within our returns policy.
Any items purchased on discount or offer, excluding our welcome offer, are final and not eligible for return, credit, refunds, or exchanges.
Pieces must be returned in their original condition with unopened packaging in order to qualify for an exchange or refund.
They must be received back within one (1) calendar month from delivery.
Return shipping must be facilitated by the customer using a traceable service. Tracking details must be provided to SUTRAM as soon as the booking is made.
We will issue refunds for the value of returned goods once we receive and process them to the original payment method. Shipping costs to the customer are not eligible for refund.
Duties and Taxes
Customs Charges
Australia: prices include taxes.
Rest of the world - customs charges are the customer's responsibility. International shipments are delivered without any duties paid.
Orders are shipped from our Melbourne warehouse and may therefore be subject to duties, local taxes, or customs clearance fees upon arrival in your country. SUTRAM will not cover these charges, nor do we accept liability for them.
Fees are determined by your local customs authority based on shipment destination, order contents, and value. Fees may be charged to the recipient prior to delivery or after receipt of goods. We recommend contacting your local customs office before placing an order for advice on local import regulations.
Undeliverable Shipments
Shipments may be abandoned or destroyed by the carrier if they become undeliverable due to the receiver’s refusal to pay import costs. Orders abandoned or destroyed by the carrier for this reason are not eligible for refund, replacement, or any compensation.
Returned Shipments
Failed or returned shipments due to refusal to pay import fees will incur any costs associated with the return. Additional shipping and import fees for returned shipments will be deducted from the order’s refund. Refunds for returned shipments will be issued less shipping, customs, duties, and fees.
